Cricket World Cup 2011: England spinner Graeme Swann arrives in India after birth of his first child

Graeme Swann has joined his England team-mates at net practice after arriving in Nagpur last night - and may yet feature in the World Cup opener against Holland tomorrow.

Swann flew in as expected late yesterday, having stayed at home to be at the birth
of his first child, Wilfred.

Captain Andrew Strauss, who confirmed all England's minor injury concerns have cleared, will wait to see how off-spinner Swann comes through practice before deciding whether he will play tomorrow.

"Graeme Swann has arrived so that completes a full squad that is fit and healthy and ready to go," said Strauss.

"The six days we had in Bangladesh were really good in terms of the preparation for the tournament here.

"We were quite buoyed by our performance [in a warm-up victory] against Pakistan.
